Terms of Service
Last updated: 9 September 2026. By using StackNotice you agree to these terms. This is not legal advice.
The service
StackNotice lets you publish versioned public pages describing an AI product’s stack (providers, training stance, regions, and related facts) and optionally email subscribers when a new version differs. Pages are seller-attested — you are responsible for accuracy. StackNotice is not a compliance certification, audit, law firm, or insurer, and does not provide legal advice.
Accounts
Sellers sign in with a work email magic link. You must keep access to that inbox secure. Manage links grant control over a page — treat them like passwords. You may not abuse the service (spam, scraping, unauthorized access, or illegal content).
Your content
You retain ownership of content you publish. You grant us a license to host, display, and email that content as needed to operate the product. Public pages are visible to anyone with the URL. Do not post secrets, personal data you lack rights to share, or misleading claims.
Subscribers
If you enable notices, only email people who expect updates about that product. Subscribers can unsubscribe. You are responsible for how you promote the subscribe form.
Plans and billing
Free (Starter) includes limited use with StackNotice branding. Paid plans (Solo / Team) are billed through our third-party payment processor acting as merchant of record. Prices are shown on the site at purchase time. Subscription renewals, taxes, invoices, and refunds follow that processor’s policies and the checkout you accept. Cancel anytime via the billing portal linked from checkout or your stack manage page, or by contacting us. Deactivating your account schedules Pro cancellations at period end (no next charge). Deleting your account cancels Pro immediately. StackNotice does not refund unused Pro time; any refund the merchant of record issues follows their policies. Access continues through the paid period already settled when you cancel at period end.
Availability
We aim for reliable uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may change. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or threaten the platform.
Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Stack pages and emails do not create legal, regulatory, or contractual guarantees to your customers.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, StackNotice and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages, or for decisions third parties make based on your stack page. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid us for the three months before the claim (or USD $50 if you are on Free).
Indemnity
You agree to defend and indemnify StackNotice against claims arising from your content, your stack page, your marketing, or your breach of these terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts in Lebanon have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek injunctive relief anywhere. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
